Technical ship inspector
To strengthen our technical department, we are looking for a ‘Technical Ship Inspector (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
Your tasks
- Supporting our fleet and its crew with technical problems
- Planning and implementation of class, conversion and repair measures
- Cost and budget control for the above measures
- Technical inspection of inland tankers
- Tracking maintenance and ship documents using modern software
- Technical purchasing of necessary materials and services
Your profile
- Completed technical training (preferably shipbuilding/mechanical engineering)
- Experience in inland or maritime shipping advantageous
- Foreign language (English, French or Dutch) advantageous
- Good computer skills in MS Office products (basic knowledge of CAD advantageous)
- ADN expertise (basic) advantageous
- Enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis and solving problems
- Willingness to master the challenges that lie ahead

Place of use
The technical team is based at our head office in Duisburg. We look after our fleet along the entire Rhine route, so alternative locations along this route are no problem for us.
